A 28-year-old man from Kadarpur village of Gurgaon district was on Thursday detained for killing a 35-year-old man in the presence of policemen, police said.
Sukha was fatally shot by Rahul on Monday (July 18) during a community meeting in the presence of policemen.
The deceased, who is from the same village as the accused, had a criminal history.
Both of them had earlier fought over distribution of newspapers in residential areas in Sector-66 Gurgaon, close to Kadarpur.
The accused shot the deceased five times as he was provoked by the supporters of Sukha who had beaten up Rahul's brother.
Police launched a manhunt to arrest the accused as he had fled after committing the crime.
Rahul, his brother Arun and father Raj Kumar along with eight others have been booked for Sukha's killing.
