'Manam' to have red carpet premiere Thursday

Telugu cinema's most anticipated film "Manam", featuring three generations of Akkineni clan, will have a mega red carpet premiere Thursday here. The movie will be premiered across five multiplex screens.

"Manam", which stars Akkineni Nagarjuna alongside his late father Akkineni Nageswara Rao and son Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, releases worldwide Friday.

"The producers of the film succumbed to the huge demand from the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao admirers and what began as a single screen premiere has turned into a five multiplex screen red carpet show," read a statement.

"Akkineni Nagarjuna will play host to thousands of celebrity invitees on the big day," added the statement.

"Manam" rewinds the magic of Nageswara Rao, who carved a special place in the hearts of millions of cinema loving people for decades.

Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neetu Chandra, Shriya Saran, Raashi Khanna and Lavanya Tripathi.
