Maoists kill three policemen in Maharashtra

At least three security personnel were killed when a patrol party was attacked by armed Maoists in Gadchiroli early Thursday, officials said.
The incident took place near Shevargaon village in the dense forests close to the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh state border, said police official Dharamdas Bhusari of Gadchiroli Police Control.
Further details of the shooting in the eastern part of Maharashtra are awaited.
