After missing the recovery session on Thursday for personal reasons, Argentinian football superstar Lionel Messi trained as usual on Friday with Barcelona to prepare for La Liga match on Saturday against Deportivo La Coruna.
The forward trained with his teammates at the sports city of Sant Joan Despi, where Sergi Roberto and Jeremy Mathieu, who remain without a medical discharge, have also been training normally, reports Efe.
If Roberto and Mathieu do not join the Barcelona squad playing on Saturday, their participation in the Club World Cup in Japan seems assured.
Less clear is the presence of Neymar in the competition which starts next week, as the Brazilian star is still recovering from the minor hamstring injury in his left leg he sustained last Tuesday in the Champions League game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
