Argentine midfielder Walter Montoya has said moving to Europe is a big step for him and stressed that through work and sacrifice, he might eventually join the Argentina national football team.
During his presentation at Sevilla until 2021, the former Rosario Central player said he always focuses on short-term objectives, and has his focus now on cementing a place at the Spanish club, reports Efe.
Montoya, who will train under the command of countryman Jorge Sampaoli, said he aspires to adapt quickly to the group, to create the possibility of joining the national team in the future.
Montoya added he was happy to be at Sevilla and showed his gratitude to the club for its trust and for the chance it has created for him.
He identified himself as a fast player with an inclination to attack.
