The Union Defence Ministry will be holding four more interactions in Coimbatore, Salem, Chennai and Tiruchirappalli with industries there in connection with the proposed Tamil Nadu Defence Quad, officials said on Tuesday.
In a statement the Ministry of Defence said the interaction with the local industries will be held in Coimbatore on March 5, Salem on March 7 and Chennai on March 10.
The date for the interaction at Tiruchirappalli would be announced later, the statement said.
These interactions will involve senior officers from the Ministry of Defence, representatives of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Bharat Earth Movers Ltd and Ordnance Factories.
These interactions are being organised with the active participation of the local Small Scale Industries Associations and the state government representatives.
