Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Sep 26, the day his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi is likely to reach there, an aide to Sharif said Thursday.

There is, however, no meeting scheduled between the two prime ministers, Geo News reported.

Prime Minister Sharif will be travelling to the UN Sep 24. He will also hold an important meeting with US Vice President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on UN peace missions, according to Sharif's special advisor Tariq Fatemi.

Sharif will also meet his counterparts from Denmark and Norway and discuss issues related to energy, he added.
