Actor Nikitin Dheer, whose character of Astika has been killed in TV show "Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha", says the emotional farewell party that the cast and crew threw for him made him realise the bonds he has developed for a lifetime on the set.
His character has been killed as the show nears its end. The Life OK show will be wrapped up by mid-January 2017.
Of the farewell party, Nikitin said: "Some good memories were relived."
Regarding his role coming to an end, he said: "My journey as Astika comes to an emotional end. I was very fortunate to meet some wonderful souls, connections I shall remember for a lifetime, love I shall cherish forever. When I left, I saw some people in tears and it just made me feel that what we do is just not make belief, it's real on many levels."
The actor, who was also seen sharing screen space with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in "Chennai Express", also thanked the cast and crew for giving him "so much love and to the audience for appreciating" his work.
Actress Kratika Sengar, Nikitin's wife, was also present at the party.
She posted a photograph from the gathering on social media, saying: "Some old, some new, some for lifetime, some as fresh as dew... Had a great time with 'Nagarjun' team."

When Drashti Dhami misplaced her wedding ring
Actress Drashti Dhami, who is currently seen as Naina in "Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil", misplaced her wedding ring on the set of the popular TV show. However, she found it back.
It happened when Drashti was shooting for a marriage sequence and was dressed in bridal wear. Wearing her own wedding ring as a part of the track, Drashti was shooting for the scene with actor Arjun Bijlani.
"We were playing 'find the ring' ceremony as a part of the post-wedding ritual when Drashti mentioned that she could not find her real wedding ring. We thought she would be joking about it and laughed it off," Arjun said in a statement.
Drashti later found her ring in her vanity van.
"I realised I had taken it off while the make-up lady was filling up my mehendi design to avoid stain. I forgot it in the vanity itself. I am so happy it was not lost," Drashti said.

'Ishqbaaaz' stars visit set by jetty to avoid traffic
Actors Nakuul Mehta, Kunal Jaisingh and Leenesh Mattoo, who are currently seen as brothers in "Ishqbaaaz", took a jetty ride to reach on the set of the popular TV show in order to avoid traffic on road.
The trio had to shoot for an upcoming high point on the show for which, the set up had been put up in the Madh Island area here.
In order to avoid the traffic, Nakuul, Kunal and Leenesh decided to reach set through jetty.
"The jetty is an extremely fun and more convenient way to travel given the traffic in Mumbai at peak hours in the morning," Kunal said in a statement.
"Instead of spending two hours in the car, it was more convenient for us to spend only 20 minutes to travel from Versova to Madh by the jetty. And with the slight chills in Mumbai, the cool winds hitting our faces too was an experience in its itself," he added.
"Ishqbaaaz" airs on Star Plus.
