No posthumous honours for Himachal journalists

Himachal Pradesh has no policy to honour journalists who died while performing their duty, Information and Public Relations Minister Mukesh Agnihotri informed the state assembly here Wednesday.

"There is no such policy of the state government," he said in a written reply.

Agnihotri, the journalist-turned-politician, was replying to Himachal Lokhit Party member Maheshwar Singh's question: Does the government have any policy to honour the talented journalists posthumously?
