Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who has signed two Telugu projects in the last six months, has signed for another project in the language alongside actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) Jr.
In an official statement, the makers have confirmed that Mohanlal plays an important role in the film.
"Mohanlal will be seen as NTR's uncle in the film. The emotional bond they share will be one of the highlights of the film and it will definitely appeal to the audience," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
To be directed by Koratala Siva, the yet-untitled film will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and will go on floors early 2016.
Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the tunes.
The rest of the crew, including the lead heroine, is yet to be finalised.
