The UN Climate Change Conference in Paris may have ended, but US President Barack Obama will be seen championing the cause through "Running Wild With Bear Grylls", a Discovery Channel show in which he will be seen trekking through the Alaskan wilderness while on a visit to observe the effects of climate change on the area.
Obama will be seen accompanying survival expert Bear Grylls on the one-hour special, to be premiered on December 31 at 10 p.m.
They will embark on a journey across a glacial outwash and through a dense forest on their way to Alaska famed Exit Glacier.
From his love for his family, to his duties as the US president, seeing the effects of climate change first hand, showcasing his culinary and selfie clicking skills -- Obama will be seen talking about various things.
"Bringing two of the most prominent and world famous personalities makes 'Running Wild With Bear Grylls and President Barack Obama' an unprecedented experience for Indian viewers," Rahul Johri, executive vice president and general manager - South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, said in a statement.
Wild bears to wild salmon and more, Grylls will give Obama a taste of the Alaskan wilderness. The larger idea is to leave the viewers more informed about global warming and its effects.
