A 55-year-old man was killed and four persons were injured when the roof a single-storey building collapsed on Tuesday in north-east Delhi, police said.
The accident occurred in Karawal Nagar around 11.30 a.m.. The roof collapsed as it could not bear the weight of the scrap items stored there due to heavy rains, a senior police officer told IANS.
The building was 15 year old.
After the mishap, Rajender succumbed to his injuries in an area hospital while the injured -- Rohtas, 50, Satyadeo, 40, Sita, 37, and Banne Khan, 36, -- are stable and admitted in a hospital, police said.
