Man arrested after scaling fence at Buckingham Palace

A man was taken into custody after climbing over a security fence at Buckingham Palace, a media report said on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old man from Croydon was spotted by police officers who were monitoring the CCTV and arrested in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, Xinhua news agency reported.

The breach is not believed to be terrorism-related, police said.

The man is currently being held in a central London police station.
