Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met President Mamnoon Hussain Thursday and apprised him of the decisions taken at an all-party meeting which was held in Peshawar Wednesday, The News International reported.
The prime minister and president discussed the committee formed during the all-party meeting which will comprise members of political parties, armed forces and intelligence agencies.
Headed by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, the committee will formulate a plan within seven days to tackle terrorism which would be presented before the nation.
The interior minister also called on Prime Minister Sharif and discussed the overall security situation in the country and sentences of terrorists.
