Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has got an unusual friend in RJD chief Lalu Prasad, who has been critical of him in the past due his links with the BJP and RSS.
"People are jealous of Baba Ramdev because he is highly successful, he has earned everything through sheer hard work," the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader said.
Unusual camaraderie was on display when the two met here, with Ramdev hugging and rubbing facial cream on Lalu's forehead. Both have been critical of each other in the past over their political ideologies.
Asked whether he would endorse Ramdev's Patanjali products, Lalu said: ''I am a permanent brand ambassador of his products.''
On the meeting, Ramdev said he had come to invite Lalu to attend International Yoga Day celebrations.
