Actor Purab Kohli says with the enhancement of technology, the experience of watching movies and shows on television has improved a lot, thanks to High Definition (HD)telecast.

Purab has partnered with Times Network's English Entertainment Cluster for an ad campaign that will urge viewers to "raise their standards to High Definition".

"I am a huge Hollywood buff and when I am not shooting, I like watching Hollywood movies wherever I am. With the enhancement of technology, the visual experience of watching a movie or a TV show has improved immensely," Purab said in a statement.

"TV channels like Movies NOW, Romedy NOW and MN+ are striving to make the experience worthwhile. The HD campaign is a way to motivate the people to indulge in enriched TV viewing experience," he added.

On career front, Purab will next be seen in "Rock On!! 2". The film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai and Shraddha Kapoor.
