United States tennis player Sam Querrey marched towards the Wimbledon last 16 after defeating French Jo-Wilfried Tsonga here on Saturday.
In two hours and 58 minutes, the 24th-seed winner obtained a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-5 victory over the 32-year-old Frenchman thus qualifying for the tournament's last 16 round for the second consecutive year, reports Efe.
The match, which was due to be played on Friday, was postponed to Saturday due to fading light.
Querrey is set to play the next round against South African Kevin Anderson, after he defeated German Ruben Bemelmans 7-6(3) 6-4, 7-6(3)on Friday.
