Many places in coastal Karnataka, south Karnataka and a few places in north Karnataka are likely to receive rain and thundershowers on Thursday, meteorological department officials said.
The Met Office has also forecast a cloudy sky along with the possibility of rain or thunderstorm for Bengaluru on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the city received 4.6 mm of rainfall, officials said.
The maximum temperature was 30.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 21.1 degrees and both matched the season's average.
Gulbarga and Raichur recorded the maximum of 41.5 degrees Celsius and 40.4 degrees on Wednesday, officials said.
