Rajdeep Ranawat lends glamorous twist to Abayas

Designer Rajdeep Ranawat conjures up a limited collection of Abayas this Ramadan, made in his signature digital prints on fabrics encrusted in genuine crystals from Swarovski with bold prints and colours.

With a taste for luxury fashion, this collection will give new options to Abaya wearers, said the designer.

The limited edition range inspired by his famous Spring Summer 2016 collection titled "Kanjaari", the essence of Kutch, is an amalgamation of intricate artwork from motifs of nature entwined with the embroideries of Kutch as print.

There is extensive use of colours like gold silver and copper colours on the pieces. Furthermore the Abayas come with a matching Sheila (scarf or wrap) in the same print to complete the ensemble.

"This Ramadan we highlight the women to adorn the new range of Abayas which only create a novel fashion statement in society and take away from the boring monochromes that have always been a part of their wardrobe," said the designer.
