Home Minister Rajnath Singh Monday left for Monaco to attend the third Interpol ministerial meeting and general assembly.
The home minister is to attend the meeting scheduled from Nov 3 to Nov 7 on the agenda "Turn Back Crime: 100 years of International Police Cooperation", a government release said.
The first Interpol ministerial meeting was held in Singapore Oct 11-12, 2009, with its agenda "To Strengthen the Role of Police in Peacekeeping Operations" while the second meeting was held in Rome Nov 5-8, 2012, on "Changes for Police Facing Contemporary Criminal Violence".
"Led by Rajnath Singh, a delegation of Indian officers, including CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) director Ranjit Sinha and two senior home ministry officers, left for Monaco," the release said.
It said the minister will also be visiting France and Israel to discuss security-related bilateral issues.
