Karnataka remained at the top of Group A after their fourth consecutive wins this season.
For the mighty Mumbai, it was their first loss in six years. The loss also pushed them to third in Group A standings behind Gujarat, who beat Odisha by 166 runs in Ahmedabad.
Punjab punished Delhi in their own backyard in another Group A match held at Roshanara Ground in Delhi.
Delhi, resuming at 60 for three, could only end at 228 all out while chasing 327. Manpreet Gony (3-51) and Jaskaran Singh (3-45) starred for Punjab while Rajat Bhatia's brave knock of 100 was not enough for the home team.
The loss was a setback for Delhi, who remained firm to play at Roshanara despite having an international venue like the Feroz Shah Kotla. Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir failed to deliver, managing 30 and 12 respectively.
