Real Madrid prepare for Eibar clash as some international players return

Real Madrid's squad on Tuesday continued to prepare for the upcoming La Liga match against Eibar, as some of the players who had been on international duty returned to training, according to the Spanish football club's website.

Recently-appointed coach Santiago Solari led a rainy practice session featuring star Croatia midfielder Luka Modric and Spain internationals Marco Asensio, Dani Ceballos and Isco, among others, reports Efe.

"The training session had a heavy physical focus, and was split in two parts," Real Madrid's website detailed. "The first half was an hour of training indoors, while in the second half, the players took to the pitch."

Key injured players Nacho, Casemiro and Sergio Reguilon continued with their recovery processes, the club confirmed.

Real Madrid is in sixth place in La Liga with 20 points, four points behind league leader Barcelona, while Eibar is in the 13th spot with 15 points.

Los Blancos are set to take on Eibar on Saturday at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium in La Liga Matchday 13.
