Fashion designer-turned-polo player Rinaa Shah's polo team Rinaldi Polo team won the Trunks Company Polo Cup 2017 defeating Mumbai Polo team here at Mahalaxmi race course on Wednesday night.
It was the first time ever that internationally well-known Jaipur-based brand Trunks Company organised an arena polo match.
The evening started in the presence of some well-known socialites, pretty faces and actors like Jackie Shroff, Kim Sharma, Ali Baldiala among others with a three chukkers match. Rinaldipoli team won the match in 1.1/2 goals.
While the Rinaldi Polo team had His Highness Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, Arjuna awarded ace Polo player Samir Suhag along with Rinaa Shah who is known as one of the finest woman polo player of the nation; Gaurav Sahgal, Shyam Mehta, and Sunny Patel represented Mumbai Polo team.
The Trunks Company is known for their handcrafted trunk in full-grained leather with suede interiors, wood binding, and teakwood contouring by skillful artisans.
The winning trophy was presented by Paritosh Mehta to the Rinaldi Polo team.
