Actor-filmmaker Billy Crystal will pay a tribute to late actor Robin Williams at the forthcoming Emmy Awards event.
The 66-year-old comedian will lead tributes to Williams, who was found dead at his home in California Aug 11 after committing suicide, during a special segment at the ceremony here Aug 25, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Don Mischer, executive producer of the ceremony, confirmed the news saying: "We felt we needed to do something powerful and memorable. Billy seemed like the perfect choice."
"Brave" hitmaker Sara Bareilles will also perform during the tribute.
