Ahead of Haryana's golden jubilee celebrations on November 1, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be the chief guest, the district administration here has issued prohibitory orders around the Tau Devi Lal Stadium venue.

The prohibitory orders, under Section 144, which prohibit the gathering of more than four people, have been issued within 2,000 metres of the stadium from October 31 till November 1.

Public gatherings near the venue will not be allowed and auto stands near Rajiv Chowk and Subhash Chowk will be shifted till the event concludes, authorities said.

VIPs attending the event include Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and more than a dozen chief ministers from other BJP-ruled states.

Over 4,500 policemen will be deployed in Gurgaon during the event.

The security forces have already started arriving in the city and have taken their positions.

In view of the mega event, the Gurgaon police has said there would be no driving licence tests on October 28 and 31 as there would be security rehearsal exercises conducted by Haryana police for the event.

Police said that candidates whose learning licenses are expiring on these particular days can appear for the tests on October 27 or earlier.
