Yesteryear's heartthrob Shashi Kapoor, who was hospitalised here for chest infection, has been discharged and is happy to be back home, says his son Kunal Kapoor.
He was hospitalised Sep 21 at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute here.
"He is absolutely fine. He is resting at home and he is happy to be back home. He got discharged on Friday," Kunal told IANS.
Known for his work in films such as "Deewar", "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" and "Kabhie Kabhie", the 76-year-old has been staying away from the limelight since the late 1990s.
