Actress Shruti Haasan has jetted off to Los Angeles to join the set of upcoming trilingual film "Sabaash Naidu", which also stars her father Kamal Haasan. This will be the first time they will play father-daughter onscreen.
"All set to head to Los Angeles! Excited to begin the new project with my father and excited to go back to sunny California," Shruti posted on her Twitter page on Sunday.
The US schedule of the film is said to last for nearly 60 days.
"Gearing up for a super duper hectic two to three months ahead! Work mode in high gear," she wrote.
The film, which is a spin-off based on the popular character Balram Naidu from Kamal Haasan's 2012 Tamil film "Dasavatharam", is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
In the film, Kamal will be seen as a RAW operative while popular comedian Brahmanandam will be seen as his sidekick.
Also starring Ramya Krishnan, Roger Narayanan and Saurabh Shukla, the film has music by maestro Ilayaraja.
