VHP leader Ashok Singhal, who died in a Gurgaon hospital on Tuesday, will be cremated at Delhi's Nigambodh Ghat on Wednesday, the Hindu right-wing organisation said.
"His body will be placed at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office at Jhandewalan for (people to pay their) last respects," an official release said.
He will be cremated at Nigambodh Ghat, situated on the banks of the Yamuna river, at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, it said.
Singhal, 89, breathed his last at 2.20 p.m. at Medanta-The Medicity hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on November 13 following heart and kidney problems. He was also suffering from breathlessness.
