Southern director Susi Ganeshan, who is ready with "Shortcut Romeo", a Hindi remake of his Tamil film "Thiruttu Payale", loves the way Bollywood is promoting movies.
"Nowadays, wherever there is a possibility people try to catch a glimpse of publicity. It's actually good," Ganeshan said here Sunday at a charity art exhibition where Ameesha Patel, who features in the movie, also celebrated her birthday with children as part of the film's promotion strategy.
"If you compare to south, these kind of promotions won't be there. But in Bollywood, wherever people assemble, people go and promote the film. I love this," he added.
"Shortcut Romeo" also stars Puja Gupta and hits theatres June 21.
