Tamil Nadu movie world Tuesday sat on silent hunger protest against the conviction of AIADMK general secretary and former chief minister J. Jayalalithaa in a corruption case.
The hunger strike is being held by associations representing movie producers, actors, directors, distributors and others.
Actors Sarathkumar, Srikanth, Senthil and directors P.Vasu, Vikraman, S.J. Surya and others participated in the protest. The protest started at 9 a.m and will end at 5 p.m.
