Leading automobile manufacturer Tata Motors Ltd. on Thursday said it posted a standalone net loss of Rs.200.86 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2015 against a net loss of Rs.2,122.72 crore in the same period of 2014-15.
According to the statement of audited financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Tata Motors earned a total income of Rs.10,000.62 crore in the quarter under review against Rs.9,060.33 crore in the year ago quarter.
Total expenses fell to Rs.10,144.68 crore from Rs.10,525.93 crore.
On a consolidated basis, Tata Motors posted a net profit of Rs.3,524.41 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs.3,592 crore in the same quarter of 2014-15.
Consolidated total income rose to Rs.72,256.40 crore against Rs.70,211.95 crore in the same period of last fiscal.
