Delhi Dreams entered the final of the Champions Tennis League (CTL), beating Mumbai Tennis Masters 27-21 in a North Zone match here Sunday.
Delhi Dreams got a dream start when Juan Carlos Ferrero defeated Sergi Bruguera 6-3 in the legends match.
Mumbai came back into the contest with a win in the mixed doubles match. Alize Cornet and Tommy Robredo came from behind to square the tie 6-4, after being 1-4 down at one point.
Jelena Jankovic won the women's singles match overcoming Alize Cornet 6-5 in a closely-fought contest.
In the doubles match, a gritty performance from Sriram Balaji and Tommy Robredo enabled Mumbai to win 6-5.
Kevin Anderson raced to a 4-0 lead in the men's singles match against Robredo and comfortably won the contest 6-1 to hand the tie to Delhi, thus enabling their passage to the final of the inaugural tournament.
