The makers of Tamil thriller "Thiruttu Payale", who have announced the sequel on the occasion of the film completing a decade since its release, have confirmed that the project will be majorly shot abroad.
"Just like the first part, 'Thiruttu Payale 2' will be predominantly shot in a foreign island on a grand scale. The story demands such level of visual grandeur and richness," the film's director Susi Ganeshan said in a statement.
While National award-winning actor Bobby Simhaa will play the lead, Prasanna will be seen playing the antagonist.
The sequel will ride on its core concept, says Ganeshan.
"I will make you to dance to my tunes, if I hold your secrets'. This core idea drives the sequel forward and it creates more excitement in making part 2," he said.
To be produced by AGS Entertainments, the team is yet to finalize the rest of the cast and crew.
