Brazilian defender William Matheus is set to join France's Toulouse on a permanent deal, media reports said Friday.
The 24-year-old has been released by Brazilian club Palmeiras to undergo a medical with the Ligue 1 outfit, Lancenet reported.
William joined the Sao Paulo-based club in January from their domestic league rivals Goias.
He originally struggled for first-team chances but has been a regular at left-back since the appointment of Ricardo Gareca as coach in May.
Toulouse, who finished ninth in the Ligue 1 standings last season, currently have no Brazilians in their squad.
