Traffic resumed on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway on Saturday after it remained closed for two days.
"Two-way traffic has resumed on Jammu-Srinagar national highway after snow clearance operation in Bannihal sector and landslide debris removal in Sher Bibi sector of the road were completed," said an officer of the J&K traffic department.
Due to fresh snowfall and rain-triggered landslides, the highway had remained closed for two days.
On Friday, only stranded vehicles were cleared. No other vehicle was allowed to move on the highway.
