Two days after suicide bombings in Ankara, which killed at least 97 people, Turkish doctors halted all non-emergency health services in protest on Monday.
"We are sorry, angry and mourning," Xinhua quoted Turkish Medical Association (TTB) as saying in a press release. "We are going on two-day strike from October 12 to 13 across the country."
"The doctors will attend funerals of those who lost their lives in Ankara," a TTB official said.
Istanbul Technical University also cancelled lectures on Monday to mourn the death of a student in the Ankara bombing.
The death toll could rise further as scores of the injured are still in critical condition.
