Vishal Malhotra, known for the popular 'Mauka Mauka' ad campaign, says he is "enthusiastic" to enter the fiction space of the small screen with the TV show "Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein".

He says "television space is crucial for an actor because it teaches you a lot".

After featuring in several advertisement campaigns and making cameo appearances in movies, Vishal has forayed into television space. He is seen playing the character of Pulkit on the Star Plus show.

"The role of Pulkit is prominent in his own right and I'm enthusiastic to portray it. For me, it was a seamless transition from real to reel and I connected with the character from the start. I believe that the television space is crucial for an actor because it teaches you a lot," Vishal said in a statement.

He added: "I was waiting for a strong role to mark my entering into GEC (general entertainment channel) and I hope the audience will support me with as much vigour as 'Mauka Mauka'."

The 'Mauka Mauka' song, which came out during ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, became a rage instantly.

Vishal will dance to the tunes of 'Mauka Mauka' on the show as well.

"'Mauka Mauka' was a really great opportunity for me and I'm glad everyone liked it. My character Pulkit will dance to the same tune on the show with Anokhi (Ishani) and we had an amazing time shooting for it," he said.
