Writer, film producer and former actress Twinkle Khanna participated in a panel discussion on "Sparking Confidence in Girls with Stars of Today"
at the women's entrepreneurship summit at the United Nations.
"Honoured to be speaking at the Women Entrepreneurs summit at the United Nations," Twinkle, wife of actor Akshay Kumar, tweeted.
The 42-year-old, who has been vocal about women's empowerment in her writings, was joined by columnist Veronica Dagher and singer Sara Bareilles at the panel discussion.
Daughter of late legendary actor Rajesh Khanna and veteran actress Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle has appeared in films like "Barsaat", "Jaan", "Baadshah", "Mela" and "Joru Ka Ghulam".
