Two mild tremors were felt in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba region for the third consecutive day on Sunday, triggering panic among the people.
No loss of life or damage to property was reported.
"Tremors of two earthquakes -- one measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale at 6.11 a.m., and the second of magnitude 3.5 at 9.57 a.m. -- were felt on Sunday," local Meteorological Office Director Manmohan Singh told IANS.
He said the epicentre of all the quakes, like the two each on Friday and Saturday, was Chamba region, bordering Jammu and Kashmir.
Himachal Pradesh had suffered the most devastating earthquake in 1905 in the Kangra valley, killing more than 20,000 people.
