FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament director Javier Ceppi was seen at the Indian Premier League (IPL) game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians, taking stock of the match operations at the city which will host the final on October 28.
The Salt Lake Stadium will host the summit clash.
"I am here to observe how a match is conducted. It's a big game between Kolkata and Mumbai and an IPL game always sets high standards. The World Cup final will be played here so special arrangements need to be done," Ceppi told IANS while visiting the press box.
Asked if this was his first visit at any IPL game, Ceppi said: "Yes. Since the final will be here I am looking at how police is working and other security arrangements. I will be here for sometime."
The youth showpiece will be played from October 6 to 28.
