The maximum and minimum temperatures on Sunday are likely to hover around 36 degrees and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.
"Sky on Sunday is likely to be mainly clear and the day to remain warm," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The minimum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 22.1 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
Friday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 20.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
