The world's largest machine-made carpet which depicts the words "I love Muhammad" in 40 languages was donated to a charity organisation in the holy city of Mashhad, in Iran.
The carpet, designed and produced by Iranian experts at Saraye Abrisham Company in two months, was unveiled here, Iranian IQNA news agency reported on Thursday.
The carpet covers an area of 21 square metres, includes 10 different colours and depicts religious words and poems admiring the Prophet of Islam.
In the middle, it shows a Hadith -- a saying of Prophet Muhammad -- in Arabic, which reads, "I was sent (to people as messenger of God) to complete the best of morals."
Mohammad Mehdi Rouhani, an official with Saraye Abrisham, said the carpet was made with the aim of promoting the message of Islam, defending Islamic sanctities and enhancing religious unity.
