During an interactive session with a business delegation from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Monday, Vikramjit Singh Sahney, senior vice-president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recited couplet after couplet in pure Punjabi highlighting the “love and passion” between the business communities of both countries. Many seemed to be enjoying Sahney’s recitations thoroughly, except for the President of LCCI, Irfan Qaiser Sheikh. When one Pakistani businessman asked Sahney to recite some more couplets at the end of the session, Sheikh curtly asked the gentleman to not make such requests now but in the evening at the dinner organised in their honour by Ficci.
