Minister of State for Coal Sriprakash Jaiswal had to face protests from unexpected quarters during his visit to Chhattisgarh on Monday: his own party men. Two Congress legislators came to meet Jaiswal in a Bilaspur guest house. Since the minister was already two hours behind schedule, he talked to them but did not invite them to sit down. The Congress legislators felt insulted and expressed their dissatisfaction, prompting Jaiswal to comment that the legislators had come to create chaos. This was no under-statement either, since Congress workers gathered outside the guest house also raised slogans against Jaiswal.
