'New India' manifests the strength and skills of 125 crore Indians, who will together create a bhavya Bharat (grand India), said Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 30th edition of his radio programme, 'Mann Ki Baat'.

PM Modi also wished prosperity for Bangladesh on its Independence Day, recalling the common memories of Rabindranath Tagore shared by India and its neighbour. This is his first since BJP emerged victorious in the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Assembly polls. Further, Mann Ki Baat can now be heard in various regional languages across India.
