Arshiya International net rises by 44% to Rs 24 cr

Aided by Full Quarter of Operations at Mumbai FTWZ

Q1FY12 Vis-à-Vis Q1FY11

  • Total Revenue at Rs. 222.60 crore; an increase of 25.8% over Q1FY11
  • EBITDA at Rs. 54.18 crore, an increase of 91.6% over Q1FY11
  • Net Profit (including other income) at Rs. 23.63 crore, an increase of 43.5% over Q1FY11

Arshiya International Ltd. (BSE: 506074 and NSE: Arshiya), an Indian supply chain and logistics infrastructure solutions company, announced consolidated total revenue of Rs. 222.60 crore for the quarter-ended June 30, 2011 as against Rs. 176.95 crore in the corresponding period last year; registering an increase of 25.8%.

Consolidated EBIDTA for Q1FY12 was Rs. 54.18 crore as against Rs. 28.28 crore in the corresponding quarter registering a 91.6 % increase. Consolidated Net Profit for the quarter also increased 43.5% to Rs. 23.63 crore up from Rs. 16.47 crore.

Commenting on the results Mr. Ajay S Mittal – Group Chairman & Managing Director of Arshiya International Ltd said “With Arshiya's first FTWZ in Mumbai gaining operational and margin impetus as visible in our quarter results and our second infrastructure project in Delhi including the FTWZ, Domestic Distripark and Rail Terminal slated to be commissioned in the coming quarter, we expect significant growth in our business in this financial year. We will continue our focus on our core logistics services of freight forwarding, supply chain and transportation integrated with our assets of FTWZ, Rail and Domestic Distriparks, where our unique integrated model has started paying dividends. .”
