Brand guru Santosh Desai shares insights with PAF students

Unique insights into brand communication in design industry shared

Continuing its effort in providing relevant industry exposure and increased understanding in advertising and marketing in design, Pearl Academy of Fashion (PAF), organized a lecture by advertising veteran Mr. Santosh Desai, MD and CEO, Futurebrands.

Titled ‘Successful brand communication in design industry’- the lecture gave the students a glimpse into the dynamic world of brand through the eye of Mr. Desai, who has lead the brand campaigns for some of the biggest brands from across the globe.

The lecture provided insights on industry trends in advertising and communication like the digital marketing, importance of design in technology etc.

Mr. Desai , who later answered students questions said, “Design is the future and will be one of the key drivers of growth in India. Originality in ideas will be the source of wealth.” He also added “Interacting with young minds is always refreshing as they are not yet conditioned and one way and are open to knowledge and ideas.”

Kanika Anand, a student of PG Marketing, who attended the lecture, expressed her delight in being able to interact with Mr. Desai, “While our curriculum is stringent and gives a lot of insight into the industry, being able to interact with an industry veteran like Santosh helps put the academics into perspective. His thoughts and experience motivate and guide us to scale similar heights.”
