Ranking Demonstrates MedAssist’s Continued Excellence in Extended Business Office Services

Firstsource Solutions’ today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, MedAssist Incorporated, ranked second among organizations by KLAS, a research firm specializing in monitoring and reporting the performance of healthcare vendors in a report titled "Revenue Cycle Services: From the Extended Business Office to Transformational Services.”

The report examines the performance of consulting firms that offer extended business office (EBO) services, revenue cycle transformations and full revenue cycle outsourcing. KLAS utilized both performance data and interviews with buyers to determine the rankings. MedAssist was specifically praised by the community and mid-sized hospitals for providing high-performing EBO.

“It is an honor to receive such high accolades from our clients and leading authorities within the healthcare industry,” said Michael Shea, president of global healthcare solutions & CEO North America for Firstsource. “This acknowledgement is a true testament to MedAssist’s commitment to providing hospitals with increasing value through our revenue cycle management solutions that are designed to maximize profitability.”

MedAssist ranked second – with a narrow margin – behind number one Perot Systems, and was among a select group of the most influential leaders in the sector. In addition to this, MedAssist was one of the only transaction-based organizations to be highly ranked by the KLAS study.
