Franchise Plus felicitates India's top franchisors

In an effort to felicitate India’s top franchisors, Franchise Plus, India’s leading business opportunity magazine organized its annual Franchise Plus Awards 2010 today in New Delhi. The awards ceremony saw India’s best Business models being awarded across various categories and the chief guest on the occasion, Mr. Pradeep Jain, Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Rural Development, along with Guests of Honour - Mr. Sanjay Dalmia (Chairman, Dalmia Group) and Mr. Ashok Sinha (Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing) graced the exuberating ceremony with his presence.

A team of jury comprising of eminent members from the industry selected the winners by evaluating their business models and recognizing those who have established themselves as leaders in their own right. The jury consisted of esteemed names like, Mr. Sanjay Dalmia, Chairman Dalmia Group; Mr. Vikram Bakshi, Managing Director, Mc Donalds India (North & East); Mr. Amit Burman, Vice President Dabur, Mr. Vinod Behl, Editor, Franchise Plus, among others.

Speaking on the Occasion, Mr. Anurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-chief, exchange4media Group said, “The Franchise Plus awards are an effort to acknowledge the top franchisors of the country. They go a long way in recognizing the leaders in India’s Franchising sector who have outstanding achievements in taking the nascent industry to next level & evangelizing the concept throughout the country.”

The awards were given across various categories like retail, healthcare, beauty, education, F&B, Entertainment, Real Estate and so on.
