Idea launches unique voice product for users in Tamil Nadu

• Idea Magic Voice allows mobile users to change their voice and talk to their friends in 9 different ways

Idea Cellular, India’s 3rd largest mobile operator has launched a unique ‘Idea Magic Voice’ application for its subscribers in Tamil Nadu & Chennai. Launched for the first time in TN and Chennai, the new VAS service, ‘Idea Magic Voice’ powered by Techzone enables Idea subscribers to change their voice in 9 different ways and talk to their friends.

The application was launched by leading Tamil cine actor Ms.Namitha in an event at Chennai

Keeping in mind different Voice and Value Added Services requirements of its subscribers, Idea has introduced this innovative IVR based VAS service Idea “Magic Voice” allowing the users to change their voice in different ways and talk to their friends at a nominal charge of Rs 1/min. The application changes the original voice to the desired character’s voice during the course of connection with the receiver.

To enjoy this service, all Idea subscribers need to dial is a short code 56060 and select a voice in which he/she wants to talk to his friend/family and then dial the receiver’s number. This service is available at Re 1/min. Idea subscribers through the ‘Idea Magic Voice’ application can modify their voice in 9 different ways - Bugs Bunny, Monster, Tweety bird, Don, Donald Duck, Male, Baby, Female & Kid.

This is a first-of-its-kind VAS service which is a handset independent service and can be accessed from any handset.
